Singapore, 17 September 2024 — Daniel Ricciardo is once again embarking on an epic road adventure through Western Australia with his best mate Blake for the second iteration of Tourism Western Australia's (Tourism WA) Drive the Dream campaign, launching today and leading into the 2024 Singapore Grand Prix. Before racing for the Visa Cash App RB F1 Team at the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix, Ricciardo took the wheel for a more laid-back experience, soaking in the stunning landscapes of Western Australia.

Western Australia, known for its pristine beaches, coastlines, and exceptional food and wine, is a top draw for travellers. With Singaporeans ranked as the second largest group of international travellers to Western Australia in 2024 with 92,000 visitors recorded by March 2024, Western Australia ranks as the third most popular Australian destination for Singaporeans.

Drive the Dream celebrates the dreamlike landscapes and natural wonders of Western Australia, through a uniquely captivating road trip adventure that invites Singaporeans to leave the everyday behind and hit the open road. Following Daniel and Blake's first road trip along the Coral Coast Highway in 2023, the duo is back together again for their second Western Australia road trip, this time through the beautiful wine country of the Margaret River Region and beyond, along the South West Nature and Wine Drive.

A Dreamy Road Trip to Remember

The South West of Western Australia is a land brimming with dreamy experiences. Whether your interest lies in enjoying fine wines and gourmet dining, participating in adrenaline-pumping mountain biking adventures, or catching waves—and gorgeous sunsets—on the Indian Ocean, there's something for everyone in Western Australia. And a road trip is the best way to explore this wondrous land! Road Trips through Western Australia give you the freedom to embark on one-of-a-kind adventures, and the opportunity to truly reconnect with people, the place, and the country.

Drive the Dream explores the beautiful countryside of Western Australia by car, highlighting some amazing experiences and accommodations for tourists.

Starting in the thriving metropolis of Perth, Daniel and Blake set off to the wine region of Margaret River. On the way, they detoured for a spontaneous mountain biking adventure at the historic town of Collie. At Margaret River, they enjoyed an afternoon among sprawling vineyards, indulging in fresh local produce and fine wines at Amelia Park.

Following this relaxing evening, the duo sped through the Cape to Cape track with a guided tour, witnessing the dreamy Indian Ocean sunset and catching some waves at a surf lesson at Gas Bay. To end off the road trip, Daniel and Blake immersed themselves in the rich history of Aboriginal culture through a guided journey of Ngilgi Cave with Koomal Dreaming, enriching their experience, before recharging for their next adventure with a luxurious stay at Injidup Spa Retreat. Take the wheel on Daniel's road trip adventure yourself with the South West Nature and Drive itinerary.

A West Australian road trip is the perfect way to reconnect with nature and each other, and indulge in spontaneous activities as they catch your fancy! Drive along with Daniel Ricciardo and explore his itinerary, or use it as inspiration for your own home-brewed adventure.
