The St. Regis Macao

(Macao SAR, July 16, 2024) – The St. Regis Bar, nestled within the opulent The St. Regis Macao, has secured the coveted position of No. 22 on the prestigious Asia's 50 Best Bars list for the year 2024, serving as the only bar in Macao to receive this recognition this year. This remarkable accolade not only celebrates the bar's exceptional craftsmanship but also marks St. Regis' commitment to deliver the finest experiences to our guests.

“We are thrilled and humbled by this honor,” said Mr. Frank Sanders, Multi-Property Vice President of The St. Regis Macao and Sheraton Grand Macao. “Our team's unwavering commitment to excellence, paired with the intimate allure of our luxurious setting, has truly set us apart. This recognition of being No. 22 on Asia's 50 Best Bars this year is a testament to the passion and creativity that define the exquisite St. Regis experience. As the only bar in Macao to receive this coveted spot, it can be clearly seen that we not only curate drinks but memories—each glass a chapter in our guests' personal narratives.”

Asia's 50 Best Bars showcases the best and most innovative talent in the industry across the region. Winners are determined by over 200 globetrotting members of Asia's 50 Best Bars Academy, drinks media, mixology experts and bars consultants. The Academy spans 14 countries and dozens of cities across the continent, reflecting the relative development and importance of bar scenes in different locations.

The St. Regis Bar owes its success to unforgettable guest shifts complemented by exquisite live jazz, where award-winning mixologists and industry luminaries graced its elegant space. From a bar program that features innovative cocktail creations to masterful presentations, the bar has consistently elevated the art of mixology, leaving an indelible impression on patrons and connoisseurs alike.

The Art of Mixology guest mixologist series began in March last year with Ronnaporn Kanivichaporn from Bangkok's Mahaniyom and #FindTheLockerRoom, and has continued to showcase exceptional cocktails from talented mixologists over the last year with guest shifts for sessions such as Taiwan Week, Women's Week, and a medley of other exceptional evenings.

As Macao's finest bar destination, The St. Regis Bar spoils guests with artisan cocktails and beverages, as well as a sumptuous food menu. The bar program includes the Bloody Mary 'World Collection' of which Macao's iteration is Maria do Leste – a cocktail forged from the city's unique east-meets-west culture; The Violet Hour which highlights the transition from day to evening with three distinctive martinis; a collection of 15 New York-inspired cocktails that pay homage to the legacy and glamour of the original House of Astor – The St. Regis New York; as well as mixologist Kevin Lai's impeccable cocktails inspired by Macao and New York City's heritages.

From The Art of Concoction menu of nine extraordinary cocktails, Kevin's most popular beverages include the Macao Egg Tart – a caramel and milk infused cocktail that is complemented by the dark rum's spiciness in a representation of one of Macao's most authentic flavors, as well as Sunset Over Hudson River Park – with orange and yellow hues of the sunset, the rum-based cocktail transports guests to a front row seat of one of New York City's best views.

The St. Regis Bar's inclusion in Asia's 50 Best Bars list underscores its commitment to elevating the art of mixology and creating lasting impressions. As the sun rises on this new era, The St. Regis Macao invites patrons to raise their glasses in celebration—a toast to excellence, innovation, and the spirit of hospitality.
